As a producer and director, Jim has been helping senior executives communicate their business vision through video marketing and training programs for the past 25 years.

...How time flies.

Six of those years were spent creating and producing commercials and corporate television for Loblaws Supermarkets, including the well-remembered Dave Nichol spots. Later, Jim served as Managing Director of Broadcast and Corporate Communications for AD-X.

Jim has a great understanding of digital merchandising and how to pull it off effectively at the point of purchase. He's the go-to guy when it comes to a reality check on executing a production, whether it's for a quality video or a full-blown event. Jim brings the level of detail, knowledge and experience that touches every eventuality that could arise in a production, which helps ensure there are no nasty surprises at the end.

In the final analysis, we always do what the client wants. But if we don't believe it's a good idea, we'll try our level best to talk you out of it, and Jim will give you the reasons why.

Since 1991, Jim has built a successful business as Gel Communications, and we've worked together ever since as creative partners on many professionally challenging, and personally rewarding communications projects.
